A Broadway Cabaret

The 2nd annual Friend's of Honesdale Performing Art's A Broadway Cabaret, a dinner theatre and concert style event that showcases the promising talent of Honesdale Performing Arts students at the private historic Honesdale Golf Club in the 1901 Club Dining Room.
We are pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for our one night only engagement, A Broadway Cabaret starring our performing artists and Broadway Star Scott Logsdon! Mr. Logsdon is a talented actor, director, and writer. He has appeared in Broadway shows such as Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Candide, Evita (DTL award for Best Actor in a Musical), The Fantasticks, and South Pacific. He has directed shows such as Chess, The Last Five Years, The Glass Menagerie, Driving Miss Daisy, Love Letters, The Fantasticks, and Funny Girl in concert in Nashville. His writing credits include An American Country Christmas Carol (book/lyrics), co-written with six Grammy and CMA Winning and nominated composers, Joyce Jackson’s Guide to Dating (book/lyrics), a finalist for the Jonathan Jackson and Richard Rodgers Awards, Broadway’s Roundabout Theatre’s Tribute to Alec Baldwin, and the internet serial “The Glamorous Life.” He’s currently writing a new Biblical musical with Emmy and Grammy Award winner John McDaniel. This fundraising event will showcase student performers at Wayne Highlands Middle School and Honesdale High School with special guests.
Ticket will include dinner and a cabaret style show with their favorite show tunes.
Please note, appropriate golf dress attire is required in the
clubhouse at all times for participants, members and guests ages 10 and
up. The dress code requires men in collared shirts, jackets preferred,
with dress pants; and ladies in dresses, skirts, slacks, capris, or
blouses with collared tops.

3 hours, with an intermission
Audience Information
Performances
are recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who
might bring children, this production is recommended for ages 10 and up.
All guests entering, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Parental guidance suggested - All Ages Admitted.

We are proud to support our students and honor the hard work they do in the performing arts. Funds
are collected through "Friends of Honesdale Performing Arts" a
non-profit 501(c)(3), and all proceeds directly benefit Honesdale performing
arts students.
